As we head towards the finish of the regular season, FanSided has you covered with the five best bets for the NFL in Week 16.

There isn’t a season that moves faster than the NFL’s. It feels like yesterday when we were breaking training camp, and now we are just two weeks away from the playoffs.

That means only two more full weeks of action to bet on, so finding the best bang for your buck is crucial for savvy bettors. FanSided is here to help with our five best bets of Week 16, including a game with sneaky shootout potential in Denver.

5. Lions-Broncos over 37.5

These two teams are going absolutely nowhere, and both the Detroit Lions and Denver Broncos are on a different quarterback than the one they started the season with. Denver has turned to rookie Drew Lock, who has flashed some potential in his starts, while David Blough is filling in for the injured Matthew Stafford with the Lions.

Oddsmakers don’t think these two will perform very well in this game, setting the over/under total at a really low 37.5 points. This is a very minuscule point total for two football teams that have demonstrated an ability to move the football, with Detroit acquitting itself well under Blough in recent weeks and Denver looking good with Lock.

Both squads have the potential to score in the 20’s, so the over should be a slam dunk in this one.
