Patrick Mahomes is watching NFL Network’s Mahomes Marathon

Kansas City Chiefs, NFL News

How cool is Patrick Mahomes? The Kansas City Chiefs superstar quarterback is lounging at home watching an NFL Network marathon dedicated to him.

Imagine laying around on the couch watching an NFL Network marathon on Presidents Day… of your own highlights.

This is the life of Patrick Mahomes. The 24-year-old Super Bowl champion for the Kansas City Chiefs posted a pair of Instagram stories on Monday afternoon.

The first portion? Hanging with his girlfriend, Brittany Matthews, and his two pitbulls. The second? Mahomes watching his 2018 win over the San Francisco 49ers, the first victory he engineered at Arrowhead Stadium during his MVP campaign.

The marathon has been going throughout the day and will continue into the night on NFL Network. More accurately, it will run into Tuesday morning because despite only being a starter for two seasons, Mahomes has so many great games 24 hours couldn’t cover them all.

Here’s the list of games being shown with times attached:

Monday (all times ET)

Chiefs at Los Angeles Chargers, Week 1, 2018 – 7 a.m.

Chiefs at Pittsburgh Steelers, Week 2, 2018 – 10 a.m.

49ers at Chiefs, Week 3, 2018 – 1 p.m.

Chiefs at Los Angeles Rams, Week 11, 2018 – 4 p.m.

Baltimore Ravens at Chiefs, Week 3, 2019 – 8 p.m.

Tuesday (all times ET)

Houston Texans at Chiefs, 2019 Divisionals, 12 a.m.

Tennessee Titans at Chiefs, 2019 AFC Championship Game, 4 a.m.

49ers vs. Chiefs, Super Bowl LIV, 7 a.m.

In two seasons with Kansas City, Mahomes has racked up two Pro Bowl trips, a First-Team All-Pro selection, a Super Bowl victory, a Super Bowl MVP, a 5,000-yard, 50-touchdown season and soon, he’ll likely be the highest-paid player in league history. Not the worst resumè we’ve ever seen.

While he has a few months off before OTAs begin for the Chiefs, Mahomes can rest up with the dogs and watch his own highlights. Maybe he’ll take a nap during the Rams game, considering that’s the only one on the list he fell short in.
