The Arizona Cardinals may be one of the most improved teams in 2020 with the addition of DeAndre Hopkins, but they still need help around QB Kyler Murray.

When the Arizona Cardinals were able to acquire WR DeAndre Hopkins for aging RB David Johnson last month, the NFL and the internet collectively lost their minds. Houston clearly lost this trade with Arizona, and now the Cardinals are able to have one of the league’s best pass catchers to pair with their young star QB.

Now, the Cardinals will set a goal for the NFL Draft to become a team that can compete with the 49ers and Seahawks for an NFC West title.

First Round

8

Jedrick Wills

OT Alabama

Alabama Crimson Tide offensive tackle Jedrick Wills is making the jump to the NFL, and he will likely be able to step in as a starter from the beginning. The 6-foot-4, 312 pound junior will be off the board early as either the first or second tackle taken, and Arizona could use his services at #8.

With Jason Peters as an NFL comparison, it seems Wills has a very bright future ahead of him in the league. He actually lacks the typical size and length of an NFL tackle, but quick punches and stop opponents from using their own length against him. Wills excels as a move blocker due to his agility. He is extremely comfortable and capable using his leverage and lower body strength to become a body mover. It wouldn’t be shocking to see Wills on an All-Pro list early in his career.

Second Round

The Cardinals do not currently possess a second round pick.
