A 10-year-old thinks he proved Tom Brady is a cheater

Ten-year-old Ace Davis put together a science project about how he thinks Tom Brady is a cheater, and the project actually won a science fair.

Plenty of football fans love to hate Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. After nearly two decades of endless success, coupled with some cheating accusations, being a Patriots hater has become a pretty popular thing to do for sports fans.

But there is a 10-year-old kid in Lexington, Kentucky named Ace Davis who seems to be the president of the Patriots haters club. And he channeled his hatred for the Patriots, and especially Brady, to create a science project that, incredibly enough, actually won a science fair.

Davis created a series of charts and graphs that, at least in his own mind, prove Brady is a cheater.

Hater level: 100.***UPDATE: He won the science fair and is moving on to district. 😂#ellen #ellendegeneres #theellenshow #viral #ellenshow #tonightshow #kimmel #jimmykimmel #thankful #jimmykimmellive

According to Draft Diamonds, Davis gave a pretty simple reason for coming up with this project idea.

“Because I hate Tom Brady, he’s been accused of cheating before, I want him to be caught,” Davis said.

The project mainly focuses on the “Deflategate” situation from a few years ago, when Brady was accused of having the footballs the Patriots used in the 2014 AFC Championship Game slightly deflated. The Patriots won the game over the Indianapolis Colts 45-7, and eventually won Super Bowl XLIX, but the semi-deflated footballs became the biggest story of the entire offseason.

The judges at Davis’ science fair must have really enjoyed the project, even though it seemingly does nothing more than talk about how Brady was accused of cheating. Just like the NFL’s actual investigation into Deflategate, it doesn’t legitimately prove that Brady had anything to do with the balls being deflated.

Next: Was AFC title game Tom Brady’s most impressive win yet?

The only conclusion the NFL could come to was that it was “probable” that Brady was “generally aware” of the minor-deflation of the footballs, and Davis’ project doesn’t really prove much more than that either.

(If you couldn’t tell, I’m a Patriots fan.)

But hey, Davis is a 10-year-old kid who seems to be having a good time in elementary school, and that’s always a good thing.
