Is Patrick Mahomes human? Chiefs QB literally throws football out of Arrowhead

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is capable of making the insane look routine, and his arm strength has quickly become the stuff of legend. He added to his aura by literally throwing the ball out of the stadium.

Patrick Mahomes has changed the quarterback position forever, as the NFL’s reigning MVP led the league with 50 touchdown passes and 9.6 yards per attempt in his first season as a starting quarterback. The Kansas City Chiefs franchise is in safe hands with Mahomes at the helm.

In case his no-look throws or ability to complete a pass with either hand didn’t seem impressive enough, maybe this crazy display of arm strength will change the most cynical fan’s tune.

Kansas City’s 41 Action News shared a clip of Mahomes throwing a football out of the stadium. Like, literally out of Arrowhead Stadium with the ball traveling an ungodly distance vertically before landing to the outside.

As Mahomes said, they were watching and recording this throw from a helicopter. This is just insane stuff.

Mahomes’s arm strength is just one of many traits that makes Mahomes the NFL’s best quarterback even after just one season starting. His deep ball is unrivaled, his accuracy on underneath throws is enviable, and his ability to creatively improvise has made him a mainstay on NFL highlight reels.

With Mahomes as the franchise quarterback, the Chiefs expect to be Super Bowl contenders from here on out. They were just a coin toss away from winning the AFC Championship Game against the eventual champions, the New England Patriots. If the Chiefs defense can get noticeably better in 2019, this team could be almost impossible to stop.
