Patrick Mahomes responds to not being top-three on NFL 100

Patrick Mahomes took some notes after seeing the final NFL 100 rankings.

Why the NFL players didn’t vote Patrick Mahomes the No. 1 player in the NFL 100 was so dumb.

Democracy is one of the best parts of America, as is the freedom of speech. However, enough NFL players didn’t think the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback was good enough to get their top vote on this year’s NFL 100. He came in third behind Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson, Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson and Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald.

Here is what the top 10 of this year’s NFL 100 looked like for 2020.

If you want to argue for any player over Mahomes, it’s without question Donald, who has been the best player regardless of position for years. He’s the best defensive tackle this league has seen since Warren Sapp. Frankly, he’s better than Sapp. As for Wilson and Jackson being above him, come on! Everybody outside of Seattle and Baltimore is shaking their heads after this revealing.

Well, the good news is Mahomes is taking notes, as shown on Twitter. Look for him to put up Joe Burrow on the 2019 LSU Tigers type of numbers in 2020. If there is a human who will throw for over 60 touchdowns and 6,000 yards in a 16-game NFL season, Mahomes is that human. The fact he wasn’t No. 1 with a bullet is an absolute travesty in the eyes of Chiefs Kingdom and everyone.

Patrick Mahomes has won more Super Bowl MVPs than Lamar Jackson has won playoff games.

There was no way Mahomes should have came back from his knee going sideways to winning Super Bowl 54 MVP. When you saw his patella go where it’s not supposed to, you knew he and the Chiefs were done for in 2019. It was going to be The Matt Moore Show and not even his own family members would have made it through its first awful season. But Mahomes came back.

After losing at home to Andy Reid’s nemesis Tennessee Titans, the Chiefs didn’t lose again. As a matter of fact, they still haven’t lost yet. All the while Jackson lost to the Titans at home as the No. 1 seed, Wilson’s Seahawks didn’t even get a home playoff game and Donald’s Rams didn’t even make the playoffs. Anybody with a brain knows who the best player in the NFL is, so stop lying.

As Mahomes takes notes, the rest of the league can blame themselves for the Chiefs repeating.
