Patrick Mahomes is celebrating his 25th birthday and the Chiefs honored him in the best way possible on Twitter.
The reigning Super Bowl champs continue to steal everyone’s hearts. The Kansas City Chiefs, fresh off their Week 1 dominance against the Houston Texans, are all set to take on the Los Angeles Chargers this weekend.
But before taking on L.A., quarterback Patrick Mahomes is actually celebrating his 25th birthday on Thursday. You better believe his teammates are showering him with plenty of love throughout the day. On top of that, Kansas City’s official Twitter account took things to a new level, wishing Mahomes a happy birthday in quite honestly the most hilarious way possible.

The team’s social media team remains undefeated. Whoever thought of this brilliant idea needs a promotion as soon as possible. As you can see in the video above, the Chiefs edited Mahomes’ hair on Patrick’s head, while putting Andy Reid’s mustache and famous face shield from last week’s win on SpongeBob.
The genius behind this effort is tough to match, with comments pouring in from fans to let the team know how great they think the video is. For Mahomes, he’ll only hope year No. 25 for him can somehow come close to how special No. 24 was.
Not only did he win the Super Bowl, but he also signed a $502 million extension, became part owner of the Kansas City Royals and bought himself a Ferrari. How in the world can he top that? Well, Mahomes and the Chiefs are in prime position to once again compete for the Lombardi Trophy, with the signal-caller looking to power his team back to the promised land.
