There’s no one on the planet who doesn’t feel bad for Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott right now. Even his haters surely got a touch emotional seeing him fall to the turf on Sunday against the Giants, with his ankle twisted in a way it’s not supposed to.
The superstar quarterback will miss 4-6 months with his fractured ankle, and you can’t count how many people are in his corner backing him in his recovery. This includes his neighbors in Texas, who got together to put up a special sign in front of Prescott’s house in Prosper.
Dallas Cowboys fans everywhere are rooting for Dak Prescott to come back stronger than ever
As soon as Prescott was carted off the field, wiping away tears from his eyes, just about everyone in Dallas was suffering some heartbreak. The signal-caller for America’s team, Prescott is well respected by everyone in the league. He’s also battled plenty of adversity in 2020, opening up about his mental health issues after his brother died.
Now, Prescott has this latest hurdle in his way, as he’ll indeed be out for at least four months to get his ankle back to full health. However, despite this setback, the Cowboys are confident Prescott will be able to bounce back from this and return to his outstanding form.
Before suffering his injury, Prescott had thrown for 1,856 yards, which is No. 1 in the NFL. He also had nine passing touchdowns and three rushing scores to his name. For now, he’ll have to watch the Cowboys hit the field on Sundays without him, but you know he’ll be ready to rock next season with plenty of fire in his belly.
