Los Angeles Rams, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Tom Brady has never looked older than on this interception (Video)

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback’s age showed in the third quarter of Monday’s game against the Los Angeles Rams.

Tom Brady left the New England Patriots this past offseason to prove that he can still perform at a high level. That’s why he signed on with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, mostly because of their stacked pass-catching group. There were times Brady looked impressive. Other times, he looked like, well, this.

During the third quarter of Monday night’s game against the Los Angeles Rams, Brady targeted receiver Chris Godwin deep downfield. However, his throw was nowhere near him. Instead, the ball landed in the hands of Rams safety Jordan Fuller.

Brady’s struggles in primetime continues

It’s no secret that Brady hasn’t exactly looked like a six-time Super Bowl champion when the lights are shining in primetime.

Back in Week 5, Brady completed 61.0-percent of his passes for 253 yards and a touchdown in Tampa Bay’s 20-19 loss to the Chicago Bears. Yes, that was the very game that he was thwarted once again by the thorn in his side, Nick Foles. In Week 8, Brady barely defeated the New York Giants. Then, of course, there was Brady’s worst performance of the year in Week 9 against the New Orleans Saints. During said contest, Brady posted a 57.9 completion percentage, while throwing for 209 yards and three interceptions in the Buccaneers’ 38-3 loss.

Luckily for Brady, this game is not out of reach for Tampa Bay, as they and the Rams have been neck-and-neck. It’s only a matter of time before the future Hall of Famer makes a ridiculous game-winning pass. He’s definitely due, right?
