Baker Mayfield trolls Jags with NSFW trash talk on hot mic (Video)

Baker Mayfield was caught trolling the Jaguars defensive line in a NSFW manner Sunday afternoon.

The Cleveland Browns did just enough Sunday to pull out a victory against the Jacksonville Jaguars and improve to 8-3 on the season. One of the top stories of the game was the inaccuracy of Baker Mayfield on short throws, but getting a win helps push aside the worries for at least another week.

Mayfield was also able to provide fans with a good laugh late in the game when he lined up under center and saw the Jaguars defensive line shift in an aggressive manner. He interrupted his own line calls to troll them in a NSFW manner. Turn the volume up just enough and hear for yourself.

Mayfield makes sure to call out the Jags

One of the perks of limited or even no attendance at NFL games this season is being able to hear the calls at the line. Usually this means hearing funny audibles or players talking some trash. In this case, the CBS microphones picked up Mayfield as he made sure to mock the Jaguars linemen. Luckily, the Browns held on for the win.

Sunday was a weird game for the Browns quarterback. Mayfield made some beautiful throws into tight windows and also missed some easy touchdown passes. His mocking of the Jaguars would not be nearly as funny in Cleveland if he had caused the Browns to lose.

Meanwhile, the Jaguars remain a disaster and are once again an easy punchline in the NFL. The team has now lost 10 straight and the 2020 Jaguars look like plenty of past versions of the Browns from 1999-2019.

Mayfield has the Browns at 8-3 and is in a position to crack some jokes and get fans laughing. Now he has to keep up the winning to avoid a scenario where he makes a terrible play and fans are tortured at the commercial break as he appears in Progressive ads. Fans in Cleveland know that feeling all too well.
