Todd Gurley trolls Lamar Jackson over MNF ‘cramps’ on Twitter

Todd Gurley had a great troll of Lamar Jackson on Twitter about the quarterback’s cramping issue Monday night.

Lamar Jackson led a miraculous comeback Monday night as his Baltimore Ravens won their shootout against the Cleveland Browns. But Jackson was mysteriously absent in the fourth quarter with what was described as cramps.

Jackson was shown gingerly running into the locker room, so naturally, the poop jokes emerged on Twitter. Todd Gurley decided to join in on the craze a few days after the fact, with a tweet of pure gold sent out Wednesday afternoon.

First off, let’s talk about Gurley’s tweet. Was he sending that from the phone he dropped into the toilet? Maybe the troll of Jackson was a way to cover up that exact question from the initial tweet.

The Jackson poop jokes are great, and the fact he had to address speculation on the matter postgame is objectively hilarious. He was likely running slow because he was in cleats, but saying he had to go to the bathroom is funnier.

The fact it happened in primetime in what was arguably the game of the year builds this up and shows why the jokes are still flowing. Who knew getting a cramp during a professional football game would be a cause for conspiracy?

Jackson may just want to lean into the joke at this point if his colleagues are now joining in on the fun. He may break the Internet if he takes the field this weekend with a piece of toilet paper on his shoe.

Jackson and the Ravens won, so that allows for the joke to not be any sort of distraction. The same isn’t true for Gurley, who may want to sanitize his phone.
