Bills fan celebrates end of chemotherapy in style with table and all (Video)

This Buffalo Bills fan celebrates life and the end of chemotherapy the way only a true Bills fan would, with a table and all.

The new year is off to a great start for some after what was a devastating 2020 for many. Somehow, someway, Bills Mafia will always find their way into our hearts. After finishing five months of chemotherapy, this Buffalo Bills fan let cancer know who’s boss the #BillsMafia way. In this video, you can see Victor Neilson sporting an incredible Tremaine Edmunds jersey as he jumped off of a step ladder onto a table spraypainted ‘CANCER’ in triumphant fashion.

Victor Nielson was diagnosed with an aggressive form of non-Hodgkin lymphoma in August of 2020 and had since been on a 5-month journey of intensive chemotherapy. The bell-ringing ceremony highlighted in the video above was Nielson’s love-filled declaration that he had officially kicked cancer’s butt.

Since overcoming the disease, Nielson has spent time raising money and awareness about leukemia & lymphoma. In a time where we’re all constantly reminded of the importance of our health, it’s great to see a fan win as opposed to a team every once in a while.

The Bills take on Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs this Sunday in what will be Jared Allen and company’s biggest test to date. Mahomes has just been cleared from all concussion protocol and is expected to be in full health for this matchup. The Chiefs may be glad to have Mahomes back but they do have other injuries that will affect Sunday’s outcome. Bills Mafia ought to be feeling pretty good about themselves after their squad handed Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens another devastating playoff loss last week.

They’ll hope to have the spirit of Victor Nielson on their side as they attempt an upset for the ages.
