Baltimore Ravens, Seattle Seahawks

Seahawks should trade for Orlando Brown to make Russell Wilson happy

If the Seattle Seahawks want to end this madness and make star signal-caller Russell Wilson happy, they should reach out to the Baltimore Ravens immediately.

Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks have hit a fork in the road. What appeared to be a perfect pairing has since gone south, as Wilson recently called out the play of his offensive line and said he’s tired of getting hit all the time.

So, what can Pete Carroll and John Schneider do to show their superstar quarterback that they want to keep him happy? How about trading for Baltimore Ravens offensive tackle Orlando Brown. Yup, that would surely do the trick.

The Seahawks should pick up the phone to try and trade for Orlando Brown as soon as possible

This week, news broke that the massive offensive lineman had informed the Baltimore front office that he’d like to be traded. Brown is a monster in the trenches, as he checks in at 6-foot-8, 345 pounds. Good luck trying to get past him to bring down a quarterback.

With that said, Brown would be an outstanding addition for Seattle. It’s been no secret the team has struggled to protect Wilson, with the high numbers of sacks in recent years sure being alarming. Brown could make a monster impact in reducing those numbers.

At the same time, going out and trading for Brown would send a big message to Wilson. It would tell the signal-caller that his cries have been heard and the organization is willing to do whatever is needed to help him not only play his best football, but also put him in a position to win another Super Bowl.

If Schneider hasn’t already reached out to Baltimore, Seattle fans can only hope he’s getting ready to do so. This would be quite the move if the Seahawks can pull it off.
