Where will JJ Watt end up signing to play next? That’s the question everyone has on their minds this NFL offseason. As you might imagine, there are countless teams hoping to land his signature in free agency. Among those teams are the Cleveland Browns, who appear to be serious contenders.
Per a report, the Browns are still square in the mix to potentially win the Watt sweepstakes. Will they end up winning this battle royal for him and have him suit up for the AFC North team next season?

As hopeful as Browns fans are that Watt ends up in Cleveland, there indeed is serious competition to bring him to town. The other teams in the mix are the Packers, Bills, Bears, Steelers and others. A report earlier this month said that Watt has high interest in the Browns, with his decision potentially coming down to his belief in Baker Mayfield.
After suffering through so many rough years with the Texans, Watt no doubt wants to join a contender and try to compete for a Super Bowl. If he thinks Mayfield has what it takes to help the team get to that level, then we could see him play for the Browns.
Remember, Cleveland upset the Steelers in the AFC Wild Card Round this past season and nearly stunned the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium in the Divisional Round.
With the organization trending in the right direction, they may be only a few players away from seriously contending for a Lombardi Trophy. Signing Watt would surely be a massive step in the right direction.
