Even with a lower salary cap the Indianapolis Colts are in great shape, but here are three surprise cuts they could still make.
in what seems to be their annual rite, the Indianapolis Colts are in great shape salary cap-wise this year. Even after making their deal for Carson Wentz, and taking on his $25.4 million cap hit, they have the fourth-most cap space in the league ($43.635 million, via Over The Cap, with an $180.5 million cap projection).
So they can stay as currently constructed, with plenty of money to address needs or re-sign people (T.Y. Hilton?). No tough player cut decisions are necessary, especially now that they’ve theoretically secured a starting quarterback for 2021 and beyond.
That said, the Colts could make some interesting decisions and these three players could be surprise cuts.

3. OG Mark Glowinski
Glowinski has become part of the Colts’ top-tier offensive line unit, starting 32 straight regular season games. But there is a deep data-backed case he is the weakest link (this side of whoever replaces retired left tackle Anthony Castonzo).
Glowinski is entering the final year of his contract, with a $7.55 million cap hit. The Colts can clear $6.15 million of that by cutting him, and they may have a replacement option in 2020 fifth-round pick Danny Pinter. Pinter made one start at center as a rookie, but he played right tackle in college and his NFL future could be at guard.
It all adds up to a close look at whether or not to keep Glowinski, and a possible surprising cut.
