Buccaneers fans seem to think Tom Brady will bring Julian Edelman out of retirement

Some Tampa Bay Buccaneers fans believe Tom Brady will get Julian Edelman to the Gulf Coast.

After an interesting exchange between Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady and his former New England Patriots teammate Julian Edelman on Instagram, some Buccaneers fans are totally convinced Brady will get Edelman to come out of retirement to join his Mötley Crüe down in Tampa.

Even though Edelman is supposedly Foxborough Forever, you cannot deny the amount of fun Brady and former Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski had last season. In their first year together in Tampa, they won a Super Bowl. Despite the Buccaneers being absolutely loaded in the receiving corps already, Brady mentioning Edelman as a “free agent” has some fans rocking the tinfoil hat.

Buccaneers: Can Tom Brady get Julian Edelman to come out retirement?

Edelman’s body might be totally shot, but a fourth Lombardi Trophy will do wonders towards him possibly maybe even thinking about earning a Gold Jacket one day. Of course, he would need to make a Pro Bowl at least once in his career, but that is not the point. It is apparent the TB12 Method can work in a sleepy beach city where it is always 5 o’clock somewhere. So should he go?

Edelman is in his mid-30s. Juan Ponce De Leon was looking for the Fountain of Youth in La Florida. Not only did Brady find it, but it resides in Hillsborough County. Tampa Bay is a city of champions with the Buccaneers winning a Super Bowl, the Lightning winning a Stanley Cup and the Rays winning an AL pennant. The weather is better and the vibes are better. So what’s not to like?

Edelman unretiring to go play with Brady and the Buccaneers is peak offseason content we love.
