Patrick Mahomes gets hyped over Royals walk-off home run

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was fired up on Sunday after the Royals won things in exhilarating walk-off fashion.

Kansas City Royals fans are losing their minds on Sunday and for good reason. Down 2-1 in the bottom of the ninth to the Minnesota Twins, Carlos Santana stepped up to the plate and delivered in the best way possible.

The slugger smashed a two-run homer to give the Royals a huge win. The stadium went nuts, as did all of the Kansas City players. On Twitter, folks are also going wild. This includes Kansas City Chiefs Patrick Mahomes, as he was jacked up to see Santana’s blast.

Patrick Mahomes loved seeing Carlos Santana’s homer against the Twins

With one beautiful swing of the bat, Santana gave thousands of Kansas City supporters a big reason to smile. That baby was a no-doubt homer. Santana’s helmet flew off and his teammates showered him with some much-deserved love.

As for Mahomes, he’s a huge Royals fan and is also a part owner of the club. He made that official last offseason. You know he’s always going to be cheering on his team. For Mahomes, he’s been crushing it in his rehab after undergoing foot surgery.

Mahomes went under the knife shortly after the Chiefs suffered their rough loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Super Bowl. With that said, Mahomes is set to be a limited participant at OTAs and will be a full-go for training camp.

He’ll be all set in trying to help the Chiefs get back to the Super Bowl for the third consecutive season. Until camp does arrive, he’ll continue grinding in his rehab and surely enjoy watching Santana send balls to the moon.
