As we all lie to everyone we know about how great we are on the links, Mahomes cannot hide behind the fact he needed three tries to get out a sand trap. While he can do things at the quarterback position most of us could never dream, look at Mahomes being incredibly relatable here. His golf game is as terrible as ours, and nobody is happier about it than a $20 richer Kelce.
Just know that your epic conquest of the sand trap was every bit as valiant as Mahomes’ was.

Whether it is missing fairways, getting acquainted with a water hazard or spending more time in the sand than you would at the beach, we have all been there.
So when Mahomes goes out there and does otherworldly things on the football field, understand that he is just as bad at golf as you are. When you cannot get out of the bunker with your sand wedge for the life of you, know that Mahomes has not only been exactly where you are, but lost $20 in the process to a colleague. This sounds like another day on the golf course, if you ask me.
