While at the White House with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tom Brady hilariously trolled former U.S. President Donald Trump with Joe Biden by his side.
Once again, Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady is celebrating a Super Bowl win by stealing the show over at the White House. The seven-time Lombardi Trophy winner is indeed at our nation’s capital on Tuesday, cracking jokes with president Joe Biden.
While Brady has a longtime friendship with Donald Trump, that doesn’t mean the signal-caller isn’t ready to crack plenty of jokes at his expense. This was the case with Biden standing right next to him too.
What was the joke told by Tom Brady at the White House?
Oh yeah, Brady went there. As you can see in the video above, Brady took a shot at Trump for claiming that he never lost the election and the presidency was stolen from him. On top of that, Brady called himself ‘Sleepy Tom,’ which of course was a reference to Trump always calling Biden ‘Sleepy Joe.’
Unreal. This may have cost Brady a shot at playing golf with Trump later this summer. In all seriousness, Brady saw his chance to have some fun at Trump’s expense and he ran with it. Folks were laughing and rightfully so.
Is Tom Brady Republican?
One thing that Brady has done is carefully hidden his political allegiance. He infamously had a MAGA hat in his locker back in 2015 when Trump announced his bid for the presidency, but he has since backed far away from that after the hat was turned into a symbol of bigotry and hatred over the next four years.
He also didn’t attend any of the White House visits the Patriots made during Trump’s presidency and was part of the NFL’s campaign against racism that Trump was actively against.
Before the 2020 election, Gisele Büdchen came out and said neither she nor Brady would be voting for Trump. They didn’t say whether Biden was getting their vote, but simply that Trump would not be.
As for Biden, he was smiling from ear to ear hearing Brady’s comedy routine. Trump and Biden sure don’t like each other, that has been made more than clear countless times. Now, Biden is the owner of the White House and he’s loving every minute of it. Trump? Not so much.
Come next season, Brady will hope to win his eighth Super Bowl. If he does, Biden and vice president Kamala Harris will be ready to welcome him back with open arms. If he does return, folks will be ready for some more Trump digs too.
