If you are looking to target a quarterback late in your fantasy football draft, here are three good options.

With the regular season rapidly approaching, fantasy football season is in full swing. If you are targeting a starting quarterback late in the draft or looking for a quality backup, here are three undervalued options.

Jameis Winston, New Orleans Saints

ADP: 133.53

Sean Payton officially named Jameis Winston as the starting quarterback on Tuesday. With the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Winston was a dynamic fantasy quarterback. In 2019, he was third among quarterbacks in fantasy points trailing only Lamar Jackson and Dak Prescott.

Winston’s elite arm talent has always been apparent, but turnovers have prohibited him from reaching his full potential in the NFL. However, turnovers will not need to be a large concern for fantasy owners, as Winston threw an astounding 30 interceptions in 2019 while still finishing as one of the league’s best fantasy quarterbacks.

In Payton’s offense, Winston may unlock the best version of himself. Payton raved about Winston’s natural ability after Tuesday’s practice.

We feel like he’s got the unique skill set with his arm talent where he can get the ball down the field.

He had a year to prepare behind future Hall of Famer Drew Brees. Winston also had one pass attempt in the playoffs, which was a 56-yard touchdown pass.

Even if Winston does not take a huge leap forward, he has demonstrated the ability to produce a lot of passing yards and passing touchdowns. Right now, he is the 21st quarterback coming off the board in fantasy drafts, which makes him an excellent value pick.
