The Arizona Cardinals are favorites in a Week 2 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings.

The Arizona Cardinals are coming off of an impressive 39-13 win over the Tennessee Titans as they look forward to their matchup against the Minnesota Vikings. Quarterback Kyler Murray and linebacker Chandler Jones were the stars of the show as Murray totaled five touchdowns and Jones recorded a career-high five sacks.

The Minnesota Vikings had a much more disappointing Week 1 result with a 27-24 overtime loss the the Cincinnati Bengals. A heavily penalized offensive line and an inconsistent defense crippled them in the upset.

The two teams face off in an NFC showdown on Sunday afternoon. If the Minnesota Vikings have any hope of coming out on top of the Cardinals, they’ll have to look like a different team on Sunday. The win isn’t going to be easy for the Cardinals either. They’ll have to make the most out of their momentum and not sleep on a Vikings defense led by head coach Mike Zimmer.

Here are 5 bold predictions for the Minnesota Vikings at the Arizona Cardinals

5. Kyler Murray will find the end zone in the air and on his feet

Kyler Murray had an insane performance against the Tennessee Titans to open up the 2021 season. He threw for 289 yards and four touchdowns and had a rushing touchdown. The third-year quarterback showed off his skills and reminded the league why he deserves a top 10 spot in quarterback rankings.

Though a showing like that is hard to replicate, Murray is not going to slow down much. He’ll manage another rushing touchdown and have at least one score through the air.

The Vikings defense allowed 366 offensive yards against an average Cincinnati Bengals team. Their cornerbacks struggled with consistency and Danielle Hunter didn’t having the explosive comeback that many Minnesota fans were hoping to see as he recorded just one sack. If the Vikings thought a returning Joe Burrow was a difficult matchup, Kyler Murray is going to have his way with them.
