Don’t sleep on Aaron Rodgers and the Packers as favorites

The Green Bay Packers put on another show on Sunday at Lambeau Field and they’re looking like serious Super Bowl contenders.

Things are going great for the Green Bay Packers and Aaron Rodgers. The team has now won six consecutive games, improving their record to 6-1 on the year following Sunday’s win over the Washington Football Team.

On both sides of the ball, Green Bay played great, with Rodgers of course headlining things. With Rodgers playing so well, plus Davante Adams, Aaron Jones and others looking sharp too, can Packers fans start dreaming about a Super Bowl trip?

Green Bay certainly has what it takes to win the Super Bowl this year

Folks raced to troll the Packers and Rodgers after the Week 1 loss to the New Orleans Saints. Green Bay sure looked terrible in that one. However, life has been great for the Packers ever since, especially Rodgers.

In the Week 7 win over the WFT on Sunday, the future Hall-of-Famer was 27-of-34 for 274 yards and three touchdowns. His first score of the day came on fourth down, with Rodgers throwing across his body to somehow find Davante Adams. Seriously, this play was nothing short of fantastic.

That’s a grown man throw right there. As for Adams, he caught six balls for 76 yards and that awesome score. Defensively too, the Packers were fantastic, especially in the red zone. While Washington doesn’t feature the sexiest offense, Green Bay’s defensive unit sure looked sharp.

This will provide the team with plenty of confidence moving forward too, especially with a massive Week 8 game against Arizona. The NFC really could be anyone’s this season, but the Packers will no doubt be a team that no one will want to face in the postseason. Rodgers is hungry to bring home another Lombardi Trophy and this most definitely could be the year he gets things done.
