A former chef for Antonio Brown claims the Tampa Bay Buccaneers receiver was given a fake vaccine card by a teammate.
The Antonio Brown COVID-19 vaccine card controversy keeps getting weirder and weirder. According to a report from ESPN’s Jenna Laine, a teammate may have given the Tampa Bay Buccaneers receiver the fake COVID-19 vaccine card.
ESPN’s report details how Brown’s former chef is claiming that Brown received the card from a teammate who is apparently selling fake vaccine cards.
According to the report, Steven Ruiz, who was previously Brown’s chef and personal assistant, claims that another Tampa Bay player arrived at Brown’s house on multiple occasions and he had to make a replacement fake card for Brown’s girlfriend, Cydney Moreau, after apparently getting her birthday wrong.
Meanwhile, Brown’s lawyer insists that Brown is indeed vaccinated. If the NFL requires him to receive a booster for the vaccine, Brown is apparently willing to receive said booster on live television to help prove that he’s vaccinated.

This all began when Ruiz alleged that Moreau asked him how she and Brown could receive fake COVID-19 vaccine cards, according to a report from the Tampa Bay Times. Moreau denied the allegations, according to the report.
