Joe Burrow comments on T.J. Watt roughing him up after interception

Joe Burrow commented on T.J. Watt roughing him up a bit after the Cincinnati Bengals quarterback threw an interception to Pittsburgh Steelers defensive back Minkah Fitzpatrick.

Of course, Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow had a cool quote after he got roughed up a bit by Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker T.J. Watt after he threw a pick to Minkah Fitzpatrick.

The Bengals are looking more and more like a playoff team with each passing week. They completely destroyed their bitter AFC North rival to the tune of 41-10 at home. While it was more of the Joe Mixon show in Cincinnati on Sunday afternoon, the play everybody keeps going back to is Burrow getting into it with the Steelers’ best player after throwing his lone pick of the game.

Here is the play in question.

And here is Burrow’s Joe Cool response to it after getting to 7-4 on the year.

Joe Burrow touches on T.J. Watt roughing him up a bit after Week 12 interception

The Bengals were already up big when Burrow threw the interception. Pittsburgh’s offense is aging like milk with Ben Roethlisberger under center. Though the Baltimore Ravens seem to be the preeminent team in the AFC North this year, don’t be shocked if the Bengals end up winning the division crown. Their offense is explosive and they are playing very hard for Zac Taylor this season.

Ultimately, this play involving Burrow and Watt symbolizes two teams going in totally different directions. It does not matter how talented Watt is or how well-compensated he is, the Steelers have no future at quarterback. As for Cincinnati, Burrow is becoming a star in the league in his second year out of LSU. He will only get better, assuming he stays healthy. Cincinnati is on the rise.

The Bengals will take on the Los Angeles Chargers next week after completing the season sweep of Pittsburgh.
