Randall Cobb injury update: Packers get massive update ahead of Week 17

With the Green Bay Packers hoping to go on a Super Bowl run, it’s looking like veteran wideout Randall Cobb will be back for the postseason.

The offense for the Green Bay Packers has been nothing short of sensational this season. Aaron Rodgers is looking like an MVP once again, while Davante Adams is looking like one of the best wideouts in the game. Now, though, things are about to get even sweeter.

That’s because veteran receiver Randall Cobb is getting ready to return for game action in the near future. Cobb underwent core surgery earlier this month, but he somehow was able to practice on Thursday. This is massive for the Packers.

Randall Cobb returns to practice for the Green Bay Packers

Cobb made his way back to Green Bay last offseason and Aaron Rodgers couldn’t have been happier about things. The two go way back and the reunion was something that Packers fans loved seeing.

The wideout hasn’t disappointed, as he hauled in 28 receptions for 375 yards and five touchdowns in 12 games before suffering his injury. Cobb spent the first eight years of his career at Lambeau Field before joining the Cowboys in 2019.

Now that he’s back with the Packers, Cobb is hoping to help Rodgers and Co. win another Super Bowl this season. Despite being sidelined, Cobb already looks fresh back at practice running around with his teammates.

Entering the Sunday Night football showdown with the Minnesota Vikings, the Packers are 12-3 on the year and they hold the No. 1 seed in the NFC. This team looks ready to rock for the playoffs and getting Cobb back on the field sure is exciting to think about for all the Green Bay supporters out there.
