College Football Playoff, NFL Draft

Look: Alabama’s Evan Neal goes viral during coin toss of National Championship Game

While many will be focused in on some of the bigger names on the Alabama football roster, Evan Neal deserves plenty of attention.

When an NFL franchise is looking to build a competent team for the foreseeable future, it does everything it can to make sure that a good quarterback is given plenty of protection. A guy like Alabama football’s Evan Neal, No. 73 for the Crimson Tide, sure seems capable of competing at the next level.

The 6-foot-7 and 350 pound offensive lineman is getting plenty of attention on social media because of how he towers over Alabama quarterback Bryce Young.

Mediocre NFL teams like the Jacksonville Jaguars, Detroit Lions, Houston Texans, and New York Jets need to make sure they’re also paying close attention to Neal as the Crimson Tide takes on the Georgia Bulldogs.

Alabama football: NFL teams must watch offensive lineman Evan Neal in National Championship game

Given how he’s performed and how physically imposing he is, Neal certainly looks the part of an NFL offensive lineman. More than likely, he will be one of the top two offensive linemen taken off the board in the upcoming 2022 NFL Draft.

And it makes a ton of sense.

The teams at the top of the draft could all benefit from adding a star offensive lineman to their roster to help protect their quarterback for the foreseeable future. Neal is big, he’s strong, and he’s been given plenty of opportunities to prove just how good he is thanks to playing for Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide.

Plenty of people on social media are just now noticing Neal. They should continue to pay attention to him as the NFL Draft gets closer.
