The 2022 NFL Draft is getting closer and closer. And with that, the rumors about possible pick trades are also increasing.
One of those rumors has been floated by Ralph Vacchiano in his Mock Draft 1.0. The New York Jets own two picks in the top 10, pick 10 Jets could be willing to trade down.
But why would the New York Jets do this?
One possible reason would be that general manager Joe Douglas is speculating on also getting a player later in the draft that will help the team. So with a trade, other talents could be accumulated for next year and beyond.

3. Philadelphia Eagles
The Philadelphia Eagles would be a possible trade candidate. To give their quarterback more weapons to work with, the Eagles could use reinforcements at the wide receiver position.
The Jets’ former draft pick would be a good fit for this. In many mock drafts, Ohio State wide receiver Garrett Wilson goes at 10th-overall. But cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. of LSU would also be a reason for the Eagles to trade up.
