Despite the way some perceive the state of Antonio Brown’s mental health, Brown himself insists that there isn’t anything wrong.
While many have quickly taken to saying that Antonio Brown is struggling with his mental health, Brown himself took the opportunity to clear the air and also to deny the notion that there is something wrong.
Brown sat down with Brandon Marshall to discuss the circumstances on what happened with the situation involving him controversially leaving the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ game against the New York Jets shirtless.
During the conversation with Marshall, Brown made it very clear that he doesn’t appreciate the way some have taken to believing his actions are a result of his mental health. According to Brown, there’s nothing going on with his mental health and he chose to leave the game because of the way he was being treated.
Antonio Browns denies notion that there is “something wrong with [his] mental health”
“Why [is it] every time something happened bad, or how someone reacts, ‘oh, he’s crazy, is something wrong with his mental health?’” Brown asked, pushing back on those who were wondering about the state of his mental health.
Brown then made it even clearer as to what was going on surrounding his well-being, explaining that he is okay.
“There’s nothing wrong with my mental health. Someone told me to ‘get the f— out of here.’ I’m not passive aggressive,” Brown explained.
The segment from the “I AM ATHLETE” podcast is an interesting one and provides some insight into why Brown left as well as an explanation from Marshall on how he would have handled the matter.
