Derek Carr’s reaction to Tyreek Hill trade is priceless

As soon as Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr found out about the Tyreek Hill trade, his mind was blown.

Seemingly out of nowhere, the Tyreek Hill era with the Kansas City Chiefs has come to a close. On Wednesday, the team traded the superstar wideout to the Miami Dolphins in one of the biggest deals of the offseason.

For countless AFC West players, they are no question celebrating this news, as Hill is one of the best wideouts in the game. For Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr, he went straight to Twitter to share his feelings on the news and his reaction was hilarious.

Derek Carr is elated Tyreek Hill is out of the division

What a week it has been for Carr and the Raiders. First, the team was able to work a head-turning trade of their own, bringing in Davante Adams from the Green Bay Packers. And now, Vegas is feeling even better with Hill on his way to Miami.

Without Hill out on the field with the Kansas City offense this fall, things are going to be wildly different for Patrick Mahomes. The expectation is that the Chiefs will be busy in the draft and free agency still to try and bring in a quality speedster, but replacing Hill is so much easier said than done.

Carr knows this, which is why he can’t help but smile. The morale for the Las Vegas fanbase is pretty darn high right now but the same can’t be said for Kansas City. Losing Hill like this is a disappointment and it’s only going to make things tougher for the Chiefs come the postseason. That’s good news if you ask Carr and the rest of his teammates.
