Just because Von Miller left the Los Angeles Rams for the Buffalo Bills doesn’t mean Los Angeles can’t attract stars to help solidify its defense.
While the Los Angeles Rams may have lost Von Miller to the Buffalo Bills, that doesn’t mean it’s the end of the world for the Rams on defense. Apparently, one talented star defender may have some interest in signing with the Rams.
The Seattle Seahawks made the difficult decision to part ways with Bobby Wagner a little while ago and that could be huge for the Rams right now. At the moment, it looks like there’s a chance that Los Angeles could land Wagner.
According to a tweet from the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Wagner went out to Los Angeles to visit the Rams. As Rapoport reports, both the team and Wagner are potentially interested in making a contract possible.

According to Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic, the Rams have apparently been working on their “free agency plan” for a little while now and they have made their interest in Wagner known. Now with Miller and his contract moving on to Buffalo, getting Wagner to town might be a bit more financially feasible for the Rams to do.
Obviously losing Miller will hurt this defense, but Los Angeles could definitely make the situation considerably better if the Rams are able to convince guys as talented and experienced as Wagner to show up.
It’ll be fascinating to see how Los Angeles can build going forward and if the Rams are able to remain a Super Bowl contender for the next few years.
