During his intro presser with the Miami Dolphins, wideout Tyreek Hill said he had no plans of ever joining the New York Jets.
When will the suffering end for the poor New York Jets fans? Not on Thursday, as Tyreek Hill made things worse for them. Earlier in the week, reports surfaced that both the Jets and Miami Dolphins were close to acquiring the Pro Bowl wideout.
If you ask Hill about things, though, he said he was all in on joining Miami. Matter of fact, his response to the Jets’ interest tells everyone he wasn’t even thinking about heading to East Rutherford.
Tyreek Hill trolled the Jets a bit during his presser
Hill basically laughed off the interest from New York in that video above. As soon as word got out that the Jets had interest in trading for Hill, fans in New York and New Jersey were through the roof with excitement. As has been the case over the years, those same fans were left disappointed.
Moving forward, Hill will be catching balls from Tua Tagovailoa. It’s been a busy offseason for Miami and bringing in Hill to make plays for the offense has been the cherry on top. This is also a big blow for the Kansas City Chiefs, but the team has eased the pain by signing Marquez Valdes-Scantling.
As for the Jets, this team has been a laughingstock for quite some time and things aren’t looking promising moving forward. The start of the regular season is still more than five months away, but it’s already looking like it could be another long campaign for the AFC East side. Trading for Hill would have been awesome, but it turns out that was never going to happen.
