The Cleveland Browns sent the farm to the Houston Texans to get the services of Deshaun Watson. What will they do with the rest of their draft picks?

The Cleveland Browns took the big step by upgrading the quarterback position, sending a boatload of draft picks to the Houston Texans for controversial quarterback Deshaun Watson. This season, the Texans own the Browns first and fourth-round picks as part of the deal. The Browns are hoping to recoup at least some of the picks they lost in a deal for Baker Mayfield, but as of this writing, the former No. 1 overall pick is still a member of the Browns.

The Browns need to make money moves this season to put together a winning roster. They made the move after the other Ohio team and their division rivals the Cincinnati Bengals went to the Super Bowl.

It was time for the Browns to make the jump to the next level of AFC team. Most teams in the conference made major moves this season to get better, pushing the competition level higher. With Watson likely missing some time due to suspension, the Browns need to add talent right now. They still have picks to upgrade the roster at the NFL Draft.

Logan Hall

Defensive Tackle Houston

The defensive line doesn’t seem like something that should be high on the Browns priority list on paper, but in actuality, they could really use someone who can clog the middle of the field every play. Myles Garrett is obviously one of the best pass rushers in the game, but the Browns need to do everything they can to keep double teams off of him. Hall is already gigantic at 6-6 and 275 pounds, but he has more to add to his frame at the next level. There is a ton of upside with him.

Hall is long, and can get separation at the point of contact. He also could make a move to defensive end, showing he had a pass-rushing ability last year with the Houston Cougars. He had six sacks from the middle of the line, and he could add to that total on the outside. He added 13 tackles for loss last season, showing he needed some time under Dana Holgerson to grow into a really good player. This could be a first-round talent that needed every moment of his college career to turn into an NFL player. Under the right coaching staff, he could be a steal at 44th overall.
