Kansas City Chiefs, NFL Draft

Skyy Moore introducing himself to Patrick Mahomes is everything

After wide receiver Skyy Moore was selected by the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2022 NFL Draft, he took to Twitter to introduce himself to his new quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

The Kansas City Chiefs may have traded away Tyreek Hill, but that made a huge addition to their wide receiver depth chart in the second night of the 2022 NFL Draft. In the second round, the Chiefs selected Western Michigan wide receiver Skyy Moore with the 54th-overall pick.

After being selected by the Chiefs, Moore decided to introduce himself to his new quarterback, Patrick Mahomes, on Twitter!

For those wondering, yes, Mahomes replied, and he is equally as pumped for Moore to be heading to Kansas City.

Moore played three seasons for the Broncos of Western Michigan, whee he accumulated 171 receptions for 2,482 yards and 17 touchdowns. This past season, Moore caught 95 passes for 1,292 yards and 10 touchdowns in 12 games.

Kansas City needed to make an addition to the wide receiver room, considering that the AFC West is going to be a battle through the air with Justin Herbert, Derek Carr and now Russell Wilson starting under center in the division.

The Chiefs addressed the wide receiver position in the offseason, bringing in former Pittsburgh Steelers wideout JuJu Smith-Schuster and Green Bay Packers pass-catcher Marquez Valdes-Scantling. In the draft, they now add Moore to the fray, and both the wideout and Mahomes are pumped.
