Griffin named the Cowboys since he is a native of Texas. Atlanta was named by Griffin due him liking the quarterback situation with Marcus Mariota and Desmond Ridder. Finally, Griffin listed the Bears due to him wanting to help Justin Fields.

In college, Griffin made a name for himself as the starting quarterback for the Baylor Bears due to his throwing ability and his agility. Back in 2012, Griffin was selected with the second-overall pick by the now-Washington Commanders, where he led the team to the playoffs and won the NFL’s Offensive Rookie of the Year award.

After that rookie season, Griffin was hampered by injuries, and he eventually transitioned into a backup quarterback. Griffin last took the field in the 2020 season as a member of the Baltimore Ravens.

Through his career, RGIII threw for 9,271 yards, 43 touchdowns and 30 interceptions, while rushing for 1,809 yards and 10 touchdowns on 307 carries.

Griffin cited that while he was happy with his current role as an analyst for ESPN, he still has a desire to play in the NFL again.
