Speaking on his weekly “Let’s Go!” podcast, Brady joked about his record against tablets while admitting he was “overly emotional” against the Saints.

In this week’s episode, Brady opened up about the Bucs-Saints game, which he described as a “tough, hard-nosed game” that got “pretty emotional.”
Gray questioned Brady about some of those overwhelming emotions, which became evident when Brady decided to smash an innocent Microsoft Surface tablet on the sideline. After 23 years in the league, it’s no surprise that Brady has the perfect answer for everything, from defensive coverages to Gray poking fun at his meltdown.
‘I’ve had a pretty bad record against that tablet, unfortunately. I forgot the password and I couldn’t log in, so those things can be frustrating, as we realize with time” Brady joked. “Unfortunately, the tablet just happens to get in the way, and obviously, that’s the reason things weren’t going great yesterday, so I had to take it out on the poor, meaningless tablet.”
More like poor Microsoft, who have had this longstanding deal with the NFL to have their tablets featured on the sidelines only to have them smashed by the likes of Brady and Belichick.
Gray then asked if Brady has worked on his tablet-smashing form the way he’s worked on his throwing form, and Brady couldn’t help admitting he’s a perfectionist about this, too.
“I’m trying to make sure I don’t throw my arm out when I throw it,” Brady laughed. “But I was pretty pissed yesterday. Until I get it right, I’m gonna keep doing, with repetition obviously being the key to success. I’ve gotta get the perfect tablet slam, which I haven’t got yet, so tune in next week to see if it happens.”

Brady then addressed the tablet-smashing on a more serious note, acknowledging that losing his cool can negatively affect his teammates.
“I didn’t do a very good job of (remaining poised), and I’ve got to be really mindful of that going forward and getting my emotions in a good place so it allows me to be the best player I can be,” Brady said.
“I think there’s are points where you can become too overly emotional, which I definitely think I was (on Sunday). I’ve got to find a better place to be at so I can be in a better place for my teammates.”
Brady then made a spectacular dad joke, reminding the world that he has to punch in every weekend at his job.
“The fact that I have worked weekends for the last 23 years, I do deserve one day off a week,” Brady joked.
This comes after Brady announced that he would finally be taking a veteran day off every Wednesday. Veteran days are common practice in the NFL, but uncommon for the 45-year-old quarterback, even in recent years. Brady has emphasized recently that he wants to spend more time with his family while continuing to play football, so Year 23 sees him seeking more of that balance.
