With Week 7 of the fantasy football season already here, you’re going to want to exploit these matchups to stay alive in your league or make money in DFS.
Week 6 of the NFL season saw plenty of upsets, crazy stat lines, and great fantasy performances. If Week 7 will be anything like what we saw last week, you’ll need to make sure you’re exploiting any good matchup you can in order to come out of the week with a win in your league or a successful DraftKings week. Let’s take a look at a few good matchups on tap for Week 7.
Best fantasy football matchups for Week 7
5. Dak Prescott, QB, Dallas Cowboys (vs. DET)
Yes, I’m starting the article off banking on the long-awaited return of the Cowboys franchise quarterback. Dak Prescott is expected to return in Week 7, per himself and several other reports. It will come after the Cowboys suffered a narrow loss to the division rival Philadelphia Eagles. Though Cooper Rush has put up a valiant effort in relief of Prescott, the “quarterback controversy” appears to be short lived.
Prescott couldn’t have come back into a better matchup, as he gets the pass-funnel defense of the Detroit Lions. They’re allowing the 7th-most passing yards per game (which would probably be higher if they played in Week 6). Prescott should come back and return instant QB1 numbers. If he’s available, it’s time to add him as soon as possible. If you’ve stashed him for this long, you should be rewarded with a very solid week here.
