5. Trevor Lawrence, QB, Jacksonville Jaguars (vs. DET)

Trevor Lawrence has seen a string of favorable matchups, and he’s responded in kind. He’s been a top-12 quarterback in five out of the last six weeks, and is the overall QB11 on the season. He’s gone from a week-to-week streaming option to a borderline QB1 in fantasy football.

A lot of this is due to the new coaching staff in Jacksonville, as well as his new weapons, such as Travis Etienne Jr. and Christian Kirk. The second-year signal caller has looked genuinely improved this season, and that is becoming apparent in fantasy lineups.

This week, Lawrence gets arguably his best matchup of the season in the Detroit Lions. They are allowing the fourth-most passing yards per game, and the most fantasy points a game to quarterbacks. Lawrence again projects as a high-floor QB1 with top-12 upside.
