Atlanta gets eliminated from NFL playoffs again, Falcons in shambles

The City of Atlanta got eliminated from the NFL playoffs once again, but the Atlanta Falcons season ended weeks ago. Like, how is that even remotely possible???

Things are so nice in the City of Atlanta it got eliminated from the NFL playoffs twice in a month.

Though the Atlanta Falcons ended the year on a two-game winning streak and a game out of first, the Dirty Birds still finished in last place in the NFC South with their mediocre 7-10 record. It is slightly worse than Jeff Fisher 7-9 B.S., but an Arthur Smith 7-10 split ain’t winning you much in a bowling alley either. All the while, Atlanta caught a stray from rampant postseason shenanigans.

With the Cincinnati Bengals beating the Buffalo Bills in Orchard Park, Atlanta has once again been eliminated from the NFL playoffs…

Atlanta has been eliminated from both the NFC … and AFC …. playoff picture!

Though their two biggest losses in franchise history came against AFC teams, the Falcons are 1000 percent an NFC franchise. Their two best moments came against NFC teams. So for those who don’t seem to understand Jeff Schultz’s hilarious joke, let me get you caught up to speed, alright….

Because the Bills and Bengals’ regular-season game was not played due to Damar Hamlin suffering cardiac arrest on the field in Cincinnati, it complicated things within the final AFC standings. The Kansas City Chiefs were the No. 1 seed with a 14-3 record, while Buffalo was the No. 2 seed half a game back at 13-3. Buffalo beat Kansas City head-to-head earlier in the year.

To rectify a potential AFC title bout fiasco, Buffalo would have played Kansas City at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. It was controversial for The Benz to be the neutral-site location for the AFC Championship Game. However, with the Bengals having no issues with Buffalo in Orchard Park on Sunday afternoon, Cincinnati will play Kansas City at Arrowhead for a Super Bowl trip.

So this is what it feels like when the New York Giants and the New York Jets get eliminated…
