Super Bowl 57 is now less than two weeks away, and we have our matchup. The Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs will face-off with the Vince Lombardi Trophy on the line.
Now that the matchup is set, the betting odds have also been released.
If you want to take advantage of the best possible betting line, it’s best to bet early rather than later.
Let’s take a look at the odds and then I’ll recommend which side you bet before the lines move.
Super Bowl 57 odds and early bet to place
There was some insane line movement when the odds for Super Bowl 57 were first released. The Chiefs opened as 1.5-point favorites, then the line quickly shifted all the way to Eagles -2.5, and now the line has settled around Eagles -1.5 or Eagles -2, depending on the sportsbooks.
Based on the line swinging back in favor to the Chiefs by half a point this morning, I think now is the time to bet on Kansas City, if that’s the way that you want to go.
There is something that could happen between now and kick-off that could cause the line to swing even more back in the Chiefs favor. Kansas City has had some injury issues, especially at wideout. Between Kadarius Toney, JuJu Smith-Schuster, and Mecole Hardman, the wide receiver room for the team is thin after suffering some injuries during the AFC Championship game. Neither of the three finished the game on the field.
If those players get positive injury updates over the next two weeks, the line could swing back in the Chiefs favor. So, if you like Kansas City in this game and you think they’ll get back some playmakers, take them now while they’re still getting two points.
The opposite is true for the Eagles. The most it’ll swing back towards the Eagles is -2.5, which means worst case scenario for Philadelphia bettors if they wait, is getting their team at -2.5 instead of -2.
But, if it swings in the Chiefs’ favor, you’re going to be able to get them at a smaller line, or maybe even a pick’em.
