Jerry Jones has grown incredibly frustrated with the Cowboys, which was surely showcased with him losing his mind while on a radio show.
You’ve almost got to feel bad for Jerry Jones at this point. He was hoping the Dallas Cowboys would win the NFC East this year and then go on to make a serious push to win another Super Bowl for America’s Team. Well, while the Cowboys are still in the hunt in the terrible NFC East, there’s simply no chance this team can win a Super Bowl.
That much as been made clear after Dak Prescott suffered his fractured ankle, with Dallas getting destroyed in back-to-back weeks by the Arizona Cardinals and Washington Football team.
Jones is understandably upset with how the season has played out, with things reaching a new level on Tuesday morning during a radio show.
Jerry Jones got incredibly upset when asked about the team’s leadership
When discussing the current leadership inside the Dallas locker room, that’s when Jones seriously lost it.
“Just shut up and let me answer it,” Jones said. “No. I gave you the answer. When I go into the locker room, there’s no leadership void in my eyes. Now that’s your answer. Move on.”
Yikes. Jones clearly had no patience while on 105.3 The Fan in Dallas on Tuesday. His anger comes two days after Dallas traveled to Washington and suffered an embarrassing 25-3 loss. In that defeat, Andy Dalton went down and left the game after a vicious, cheap hit from Washington’s Jon Bostic.
Dalton was diagnosed with a concussion. If he’s not able to play this weekend, that means seventh-round pick Ben DiNucci will get the start in Week 8 for Dallas. With the Cowboys at 2-5 on the year, they’re in dire need of a win this weekend. Should DiNucci lead the offense out, his first start will come on the road against the Philadelphia Eagles.
