Matthew Adams’ tweet proved he was a bit too inspired by Mike Tyson after illegal NFL punch.
The sports world gathered around their televisions to watch the return of Mike Tyson after 15 years when he stepped back in the boxing ring against Roy Jones Jr. on Saturday night. Indianapolis Colts reserve linebacker Matthew Adams was no different. Just hours before he stepped on the gridiron he tweeted that he wanted to be a boxer when his NFL career is over. Unfortunately, looks like he took out his sparring practice on the Tennesse Titans on Sunday.
“When I retire from the NFL, I’m picking up the boxing gloves,” he wrote during the broadcast of the fights. Who would have thought that was an omen for what was to come Sunday morning.
Just before halftime, Adams got into it with Titans linebacker Nick Dzubnar.
No punishment was announced at press time but he’ll probably have a fine and or suspension.
NBA star Nate Robinson just knocked the heck out
He might want to re-think the boxing career as NBA player Nate Robinson stepped into the ring with YouTube star, Jake Paul, and got murked so hard he became an overnight meme sensation that rivals crying Jordan.
