The NFL gave us four huge touchdowns in a five-minute span.
The one guy who thought that Chicago Bears running back David Montgomery would be the first NFL player to break off a huge touchdown run has been vindicated. Montgomery ran for an 80-yard touchdown against the Houston Texans, one of four jaw-dropping scores that happened within a few minutes of each other as Week 14 kicks into high gear.

Not long after, the Denver Broncos took the lead against the Carolina Panthers, as speedy wide receiver Diontae Spencer jitterbugged his way to the end zone on an 83-yard punt return touchdown. With Drew Lock and the offense still sputtering, leave it to the special teams to put Denver on the board.
In terms of pure degree of difficulty, the player who can claim he has the most impressive touchdown was Tennessee Titans wide receiver A.J. Brown. Brown gave them the lead over the Jacksonville Jaguars after hauling in a flea-flicker in the end zone from Ryan Tannehill, only using one hand to do so. Brown’s standout sophomore season continues with arguably his biggest highlight yet.
Last, but certainly not least, the Aldon Smith renaissance continued against the Cincinnati Bengals. After Trayveon Williams fumbled the ball in Cowboys territory, Smith picked it up and scampered all the way to the end zone, continuing to show Cincinnati is not competitive without Joe Burrow.
Any given week is bound to have some surprises in it, but four touchdowns like those all coming so close to one another are certainly setting the stage for an exciting slate of games as the playoff push heats up.
