Three Buffalo Bills players have been fined from the scuffle with the Chiefs during the AFC Championship Game.
You just knew some bad news was going to be coming for Buffalo Bills players following the AFC Championship Game. In addition to losing to the Kansas City Chiefs, things also went south after a brawl broke out between the two sides.
It all started after Josh Allen was taken to the ground, and then all hell broke loose. Well, three players from Buffalo have been informed that their checking accounts will take a bit of a hit for their involvement in the melee.
Josh Allen is among three players fined from Buffalo for the AFC title game brawl
Allen headlines the group getting fined, as he has to cough up $15,000. In addition to Allen, offensive linemen Dion Dawkins and Jon Feliciano were also fined, but they have to pay $10,000. Tensions were running high between the two sides and things only got worse after Allen threw the ball at a Chiefs lineman.
After that, things really did boil over. Unfortunately for Buffalo, they weren’t able to record the upset and will now have to watch the Chiefs take on the Buccaneers in the Super Bowl. Kansas City of course is looking to repeat as champions. KC is also built to compete for Super Bowls for years to come.
With that being said, the Bills showcased just how great they can be next season, with Allen really taking several steps forward. Come next year, we’ll see if Buffalo can land a knockout punch on the Chiefs should the two go on to meet in the AFC Championship Game again. If that matchup does take place, you better believe it will be an entertaining battle.
