Baker Mayfield would make a great addition to the next incarnation of The X-Files.
Baker Mayfield knows the truth is out there.
The quarterback for the Cleveland Browns is causing a stir on social media, but not for reasons you may suspect. Although, it’s sure to generate several hours of content on Colin Cowherd’s show for the next few days and weeks.
Mayfield tweeted on Thursday morning that he and his wife Emily Wilkinson saw a UFO on their way home from dinner.
The former Heisman winner and No. 1 pick out of Oklahoma tweeted:
“Almost 100%, Em and I just saw a UFO drop straight out of the sky on our way home from dinner… we stopped and looked at each other and asked if either of us saw it… Very bright ball of light going straight down out of the sky towards Lake Travis. Anybody else witness this?”
Baker Mayfield is convinced he saw a UFO
Mayfield isn’t the first one to report seeing an unidentified flying object, and he surely won’t be the last, but when a famous person admits to this, it lends credence that we’re not the only ones in this solar system.
No, I’m not about to go all Fox Mulder and channel David Duchovny from The X-Files, but this should make for a fun reality show for Mayfield and his wife. They should spend their offseason hunting for UFO’s across the country and interview people who have spotted alien aircraft.
Are you gonna tell me you wouldn’t watch a show like that? It would be a perfect addition to Discovery Channel’s lineup. Perhaps it can fill a spot on one of the 897 streaming platforms. With Paramount+ now available, I can’t think of a better promotion than signing Mayfield to an overall deal to produce and star in a show searching for UFO’s.
As long as it doesn’t interfere with his offseason work and preparation to get the Browns to the Super Bowl, I’m sure Cleveland fans will be okay with it. Right? Well, maybe not. But the truth is out there.
