Huge news has arrived out of Las Vegas, with the Raiders and Kolton Miller agreeing to a massive new deal.
Jon Gruden is at it again, as the Las Vegas Raiders have reached an agreement on a new deal with star offensive tackle Kolton Miller that has folks jacked up all over Sin City. Miller has become one of the best linemen on the outside and the Raiders just rewarded him for it in a big way.
According to NFL insider Tom Pelissero, Las Vegas and Miller have signed a new extension that will not only raise his annual earnings to more than $18 million, but it also features a head-turning $42.6 million in guaranteed money.
Kolton Miller and the Raiders have agreed to a monster new contract extension
Talk about a huge day for Miller and the Raiders. The standout left tackle just wrapped up his third campaign with the organization. Since making his team debut, Miller has appeared in 46 games, starting every single one at left tackle for the Raiders.
Miller really is quite the specimen, as he checks in at 6-foot-8, 325 pounds. You simply can’t teach that kind of size, as Miller towers over most defensive lineman trying to fight through him to put pressure on Derek Carr. Good luck with that.
With his outstanding blocking abilities, signing Miller to his new deal was simply a no-brainer for Gruden and the rest of the front office. As you might imagine, Miller is nothing short of fired up over Tuesday’s breaking news.
After going 8-8 last season and once again missing the postseason, Las Vegas will hope to change that in 2021 and live up to the high expectations under Gruden. This new update on Miller will only pump fans up even more for the new campaign to arrive.
