Brittany Matthews and Patrick Mahomes have been together for nine wonderful years.
So much has changed in the last nine years for Brittany Matthews and Patrick Mahomes, but their love for each other continues to grow with every passing day.
Matthews shared a beautiful picture of her and her fiancé on their ninth anniversary as a couple. While the high school sweethearts have been unable to get married due to COVID-19, they recently welcomed their first child into the world, Sterling Skye Mahomes. Despite the Super Bowl 55 loss, life is pretty good for Matthews and the Kansas City Chiefs starting quarterback.
Brittany Matthews and Patrick Mahomes have been together since high school
Back before Mahomes became the NFL‘s most marketable star, he was a multi-sport athlete from Tyler, Texas. Being the son of a Major Leaguer, many thought Patrick Mahomes would embark on an MLB career like his father, Pat Mahomes. However, his howitzer of a right arm really shined on the gridiron, as he threw for a ton of yards playing for Kliff Kingsbury at Texas Tech University.
From his days at Whitehouse High School, to playing for a middle-of-the-pack Big 12 team, to becoming the greatest thing to happen to Kansas City since George Brett, Matthews has been with Mahomes every step of the way. Still in their mid-20s, they have their whole lives ahead of them. With a growing family and in the heart of America, they are exactly where they need to be.
Here is to another nine years and then some for Mahomes and Matthews as a beautiful couple!
