Chicago Bears fans will no question be fired up when they see the new MVP odds for rookie quarterback Justin Fields.
For the first time in what feels like an eternity, the Chicago Bears have a quarterback they’re excited about. No, we’re not talking about Andy Dalton. Parties all over The Windy City probably haven’t stopped since the team used its first-round pick on Justin Fields.
The former Ohio State star is officially a Bear and he’ll have huge expectations from the moment he suits up in the team’s jersey for the first time. As it turns out, he’s actually got the second-best MVP odds of all the first-year signal-callers out there, coming in behind Trevor Lawrence per WynnBet and as relayed by BetSided.
Justin Fields has +10000 odds to win MVP next season
According to BetSided, Fields has +10000 odds on WynnBet to be named MVP next season, which is behind Lawrence, but ahead of Trey Lance and Zach Wilson. Those two quarterbacks were taken ahead of Fields in the first round, but the oddsmakers don’t care about that one bit.
Fields fell a little in the NFL Draft, but Chicago traded up to land him with the No. 11 overall pick. Make no mistake about it, Fields is the quarterback of the future for this team and his rocket for a right arm has fans pumped to see what he can do.
The Bears very well could end up starting Dalton in Week 1 and letting Fields learn the system a bit before throwing him into the fire. However, it wouldn’t be a total shock if Fields wins the job during camp and makes this offense his from the opening kick of the campaign. Chicago supporters truly have countless reasons to be excited about Fields’ future.
