Tennessee Titans cornerback Janoris Jenkins reported a missing car to the Atlanta police on Wednesday … his Rolls Royce.
NFL star Janoris Jenkins returned from an off-season trip to Florida only to discover that his 2016 Rolls Royce went missing from the Atlanta airport.
The Tennessee Titans new cornerback parked his car at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport before catching a flight to Florida on May 5. This was recorded on video from the south economy lot, but there is apparently no footage of the vehicle leaving. Without any evidence, when and how the vehicle was stolen, and by whom, remains a mystery.
Jenkins asking Atlanta airport to replace stolen Rolls Royce
Jenkins was not pleased that airport staff showed little empathy when he reported his $250,000 vehicle missing.
“They gave me the complete runaround!” Jenkins said through his social media accounts. He is asking the Atlanta airport to provide him with a new vehicle within a week and warning others not to park their car there.
The Atlanta Police Department has been notified about the theft.
Two months ago, the 32-year-old Jenkins signed a two-year contract with the Titans reportedly worth $15 million. Of that, $7.5 million is guaranteed. Previously, he has played with the New Orleans Saints, New York Giants and St. Louis Rams.
We emphasize with Jenkins’ situation, and we hope it gets resolved soon. But next time, we hope he gets comprehensive car insurance.
