Dak Prescott is back at practice from his shoulder injury and he’s throwing balls to Amari Cooper like the good old days.
Last week, countless hearts dropped when Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott was spotted leaving practice with trainers. It was later revealed that Prescott was dealing with a minor shoulder injury. Well, the man is back at practice throwing the ball around the field.
On Tuesday, Prescott was spotted getting in some extra work with star wide receiver Amari Cooper and it looks like the two haven’t missed a beat. Matter of fact, this will only fire up Dallas fans for Week 1 to arrive.
Amari Cooper and Dak Prescott will be ready to ball out this season
As you can see in the video above, Prescott was showing off his rocket for an arm in tossing some passes to Cooper. The wide receiver also received some big news, as he passed his physical and was taken off the PUP list.
Both players are battling back from ankle injuries: Prescott suffered his fractured ankle early last season, while Cooper underwent surgery in January. Both players have been working their tails off to make sure they’re good to go for the season-opener facing Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
All signs are pointing to that being the case. Cooper is entering his third year with Dallas, recording at least 1,000 receiving yards in his first two campaigns with America’s Team. Prescott is without question motivated to remind everyone that he’s one of the best signal-callers in the game, while also wanting to live up to his monster four-year, $160 million extension.
Come Week 1, Dallas will have an upset on its mind. Prescott and Cooper will do everything possible to try and make that happen.
