The Rams and Chargers faced off this preseason with fans in the stands. While it’s a great sight, it’s also a reminder of what can go wrong.
The Chargers won their preseason opener against the Rams, and with both teams playing in Los Angeles neither fanbase had to travel far to see their team play.
Neither Matthew Stafford nor Justin Herbert played a snap, with Chase Daniel leading the Chargers to victory. Duck Hodges got the majority of the snaps for the Rams.
But the major storyline occurred in the stands, rather than the field of play. A large fight broke loose between fans, and it poured over multiple rows of people.
